Spiritual Gift

Spiritual Gift - Gift given by God for us to use to glorify God and praise God

Today, we took a test about our spiritual gifts. We read about one thing and rated ourselves about each sentence. Then after we answered all of the 112 questions, we added up the numbers for each column and we took the top three numbers. And mine was D for discernment, I for service and a tie between J for knowledge and P for wisdom.

SDS and Learning Style - Day 5

Today, took a test called SDS (self-directed search) that took our interests and talents to help us choose jobs and the result gave us 3 letter codes. My code was I, A, S which I later learned that it stood for Investigative, Artistic and Social. Then, after I got my code, I went to another booklet and searched for the list of careers that had the same codes. But when I looked at them, I didn't find any of the jobs interesting, so I mixed up the letters and there were only one or two that interested me. I don't think that this helped me a whole lot about what careers I want. We also looked at the results of our learning style, and I learned that I was a visual learner.

Personality Traits - Day 4

Today, we took a personality trait test that asks us about our personality and during the test, I realized things about myself that I hadn't known or forgotten about myself. Then, when we finished the test, we got a specific code depending on our results and that code was to help us choose a career depending on our personality. Until now, I thought that our personalities had nothing to do with choosing our careers but after I took this test, I learned that our personalities are a huge part.

Learning Style - Day 3

Today, we put together a list that listed all our priorities of what we want from our jobs and we went to a website to discover the conditions that we learn best in. I learned when and how I study best and how to deal with the things that distract me from concentrating such as sound. I learned that I don't match with careers that involve a noisy background and an active background. I don't have any career choices that pops up in my mind up until now.

Day 1 Mrs. Gunther

How do you plan on choosing a career?
I plan on choosing my career based on the things that I like and want to do, because I heard from many people and I've read a lot of books that tells to choose careers based on the things that you like and want to do because if you don't you won't enjoy your career and you won't be able to enjoy your life. Also, if you do something you like to do, you'll work hard and if you work hard, other things will come to you automatically.

Does your gender make a difference?
I don't think gender make a difference because anyone should be able to choose from what they want to do.

Who will help you choose a career?
My parents, teachers, friends, myself (my interests, etc.), and other sources

Can the Bible offer any help?
I think the Bible can offer help because there are a lot of helpful information about how I should live my life and what choices I should make and what not to do.

How to cook Ramyun

First, you need to buy a ramyun from a store. Then you need approximately 550mL of water. Get out a pot that will fit 550mL of water and will leave some space from the top. Then pour the 550mL of water and boil by heating the pot. You will need to wait approximately 2-3 minutes. Next, you can either put the noodle in first, or the sauce in. It doesn't matter the order but some people tend to care a lot about it. Then after you put both the noodle and sauce in, wait for about 3~5minutes depending on how you want your ramyun. As your ramyun is cooking, enjoy the sensational smell of ramyun and after you are done, pour the ramyun into a bowl, that is any size that can fit all of it or you can just eat it right from the pot. And that is the instruction for cooking a ramyun. You can refer to this or the back of the ramyun cover.

“Feel the fear, and do it anyway”

“No! I don’t want to go!” I cried as hard as I could while my friends were dragging me.

“It’s not scary! C’mon let’s go! Fine, if you go with us, we’ll buy you five ice creams. Deal?” proposed my friend while I kept refusing,” Fine, why don’t you want to ride the rollercoaster?”

“Ummmm… because, on the loops, we might fall off the cars and die!” I declared.

“Pff, are you kidding me? I’ve never heard of anything like that happening, and besides, there are no loops in this one.”

“Fine… we might… oh! There could be a power shortage and we might be stuck in the roller coaster for hours! Plus, I heard people throw up.”

After minutes of having my friends persuade me, they finally gave up and they abandoned me and left it to me to decide if I wanted to get on or not. Finally, I ignored my inner mind telling me not to ride it, and courageously got on. As soon as I got on, my heart sunk and I instantly regret getting on this. But I gripped on the safety bar as hard as I could and I rode the rollercoaster for the first time in my life.

Mean Little Piggies

"Your Honor, my client strongly claims that he was falsely accused by the 3 mean pigs," stated Ryan, the lawyer of the 'Big Bad Wolf'. "This is the story that my defendant has told me: the other night, a man with brute force and a hunting rifle came in search of the wolves. He was sound asleep until a deafening sound came to his ears. He woke up in horror and when he had heard the sound again, he quickly ran for his life.
"He had lost his home and was now traveling down the road and you can imagine how starving and dirty he looked. If anyone was to see him in that condition, they would've called the police. Anyway, he walked and walked until he saw 2 fat, little pigs dancing around and singing happily. He was so relieved to find people here and so he approached them. When he slowly approached them to ask them kindly for food, the 2 little pigs saw him, and started attacking him with their sticks."
"HEY! You're lying! We never attacked him, he attacked US!" cried the pig.
"Don't you dare!" rebutted the wolf, "You approached me with sticks and violently att..."
"ORDER! Order! The defendant may continue," said the judge in a calm, yet firm voice.
"As I was saying, your honor, the 2 little pigs came up to him with weapons, and attacked him. And anyone would react back to that, right? So he got up and tried to grab their weapons, but instead, he accidentally grabbed one of the pig's neck and the other mistook him for strangling and trying to kill the other pig. When my client realized what he was doing, he quickly let go and tried to apologize, but as soon as his grip loosened, the pigs ran away to their respective homes. He quickly got up, wiped the dirt off himself and went to the pig's home to apologize. His house was made of straw and he knocked on the loose door. But instead of answering, the pig raised his voice and spoke insults to the innocent wolf. When he had heard this, it offended him so much that tears dripped down from his eyes. But suddenly, he felt his nose tingle and he squeezed his nose as hard as he can, but it happened. He sneezed. After he opened his eyes from all the tingly feeling from his nose, he noticed that the poor little pig's house was obliterated. He felt the need to apologize even more to the little pigs, so he went after the 2nd house, and he found out that the next house was built out of wood. As he was walking over, dirt got into his nose, and he huffed and puffed and sneezed. He felt so sorry, that he was on a verge to just go without asking for any food. But he was so hungry, that he knocked on the door that was built out of brick. But no one answered, so he tried knocking again. When they didn't answer for the second time, he knocked again, but this time, the third pig came out with fire and chased him away. And that is why my client is innocent, your honor."
